During the pandemic in 2020, I saw the little stands for books and canned goods outside by people's homes.  I thought to myself, "What about helping pets as well?"  I proposed the idea to the community and received a warm response.

 The community voted for a name, and then I needed to find a location that was convenient for those in need to be able to come to easily.  Luckily, Daniel's Table agreed to partner with Project Pet Pantry and provided us with an outdoor space for our bin, as well as storage space inside.   We officially opened in November 2023, and since then have helped so many of our furry friends and their families.  Since our opening, many other pet pantries have opened in neighboring communities.  We are proud that we started this trend of helping animals in need of food.

Project Pet Pantry is a big piece of my heart.  Daniel's Table had a beautiful dedication to my doggy, Scout, who sadly passed in January of 2025.  He will forever be a part of my mission to  eliminate hunger for pets...one animal at a time.
